Meet Courtni
Hi, my name is Courtni Lovell. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specialized in working with children, teens and families. What I enjoy most about my job is watching clients choose change and be successful in their goals. My guiding philosophy is: “It works if you work for it.”
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Missouri in 2020. Since then, I’ve gained experience in adult psychiatric care, case management, medical social work, and individual therapy. I found that I truly enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, and young adults who struggle with everything from ADHD to self-image issues.
As a therapist, I believe strongly in the power of creative and natural outlets—such as art and time outdoors—as tools for helping clients express their emotions. I also emphasize the importance of building communication skills and encouraging clients to share their feelings with those closest to them.
In my free time I enjoy being with my family, my dog, and working on the never ending tasks that will get me to my PhD.
I work with individuals in-person and over video depending on your needs. I am working to become in network with Aetna, United Healthcare and UMR by January 2027.
